DrFirst - Resetting the EPCS Passphrase

How to Reset Your EPCS Passphrase

In the event that you forget your EPCS passphrase, or wish to reset it, you will need to follow the process outlined below.

1. Open any internet browser and go to the following web address: https://ui.epcsdrfirst.com/pob/login
2. Once the EPCS application launches you will need to click on Forgot Passphrase as seen below.

3. Next, enter your NPI and the Serial Number/Credential ID from your EPCS token and click Next Step

4. You will then need to enter your email address and one-time pin/security code from your token. Once complete, click Continue.

5. The system will send an email to your EPCS registered email with instructions to reset your passphrase.

6. Once you locate the email, click on the Reset Passphrase Link to start the process. 

7. You will then need to input your NPI number and Serial Number/Credential ID from your EPCS token. When ready, click Continue.

8. Next, enter the one-time pin/security code from your token to authenticate yourself.

9. You will then be prompted to answer your security question. When ready, click Continue.

10. Finally enter a new passphrase, confirm the passphrase and click Continue.

At this point in time, your new passphrase will be ready to use!
