Notes

How do I add a note?

    1. Click Add next to 'Notes' from the Patient or Encounter Dashboard
    2. Choose the Note Type: 
      • Alert: popup alert that must be closed to proceed
      • Billing Note: shows in Note section
      • Contact Log: shows in Note section
      • Header Message: the note displays at the top of the chosen page in red font
    3. Add the Note
    4. If Alert or Header is the Type, choose which page(s) this will appear on
      • If a 'Payment Posting' alert is chosen, the alert will show when manually posting payments, and/or an alert will display on the ERA Remit Items page for ERAs
    5. Save

How do I add a customized note to a Patient or Encounter that prints on statements

How do I delete or edit a note?

To Edit a note: 
Click on the DATE hyperlink
From the popup edit what is needed and [SAVE]

To Delete a Note
  1. Click NOTES
  2. Highlight the note > Click [Delete]
  3. Add a Note
  4. Click [Delete]
    • this is permission based.  If you don't see the delete button you do not have the user permissions, see you administrator.
