Office Therapy/QuicDoc Pro - How to Change Diagnosis Code Descriptions

Both QuicDoc and Office Therapy allow you edit the Diagnosis Descriptions for ICD-10 codes.
 
In Office Therapy:
  1. Go to View, Diagnosis Codes, ICD 10 Codes.
  2. Use the Search section to find the code of concern.
  3. Select the code in the list, and then click "Modify ICD Description"
  4. Change the Description as desired, and then click Save.
Note:  In regards to claim filing, only the diagnosis code is transmitted; the description is not and is arbitrary.  It is your responsibility to ensure you are billing using the correct codes.

 To do the same thing in QuicDoc:
  1. Login as a System Administrator enabled account.
  2. Go to Setup, ICD Listing, Modify ICD List.
  3. Use the Search section to find the code of concern.
  4. Select the code in the list, and then click either "Modify ICD Description", or click "Modify DSM Description" - whichever description you wish to change.
  5. Change the Description as desired, and then click Save.
