Print to PDF and Save Patient Charts and Notes
1. Log in to QuicDoc as a user with note access rights. Go to the list of patients. Select a patient from the list by highlighting them.
You will need to complete these steps for each patient.
2. In the top left File menu place your cursor on Print to expand a menu of options to select.
You can also click the Printer icon directly below the File menu.
a. Select Chart to print the patient’s “Face Sheet” with all notes. Chart prints everything.
b. Select Notes to print the patient’s notes without the “Face Sheet.” Notes gives the option of providing a date range of the notes to display/print.
3. A window appears displaying the Chart/Notes. Click the printer icon in the upper left.
Do not use the disk icon to save directly to file! Saving directly to file from this window sometimes creates an invalid PDF.
4. In the Print dialog window, select Print to PDF option. Then click Print.
Printing to a physical printer sometimes results in file errors.
5. Select the location where you will save the file. (This will default to the location of your previous save.) If desired, you may also update the file name to indicate its contents.
1. Open the Scheduler.
2. Select a therapist. (This will not affect which appointments can be printed.)
3. Select Reports > Schedule from the top toolbar.
4. Select your desired date range, provider(s), and sort. Then select Print.
5. In the Print dialog window, select Print to PDF option. Then click Print.
6. Select the location where you will save the file. (This will default to the location of your previous save.) If desired, you may also update the file name to indicate its contents.
Saving Attachments
Attachments are included in the export for QuicDoc cloud customers. For QuicDoc client-server customers, attachments can be saved and brought to your next EHR.
1. To find the location where your attachments are saved, go to Setup > Preferences.
2. On the Administrative tab within Preferences, the location of your attachments is listed:
This is configurable, but the default value for client-server systems is: C:\Users\Public\Documents\DocuTrac\QuicDoc Std\Attachments
3. Within that directory, a subdirectory will exist for every patient that has attachments associated with it. The folders are named with the QuicDoc patient ID.
