When creating a new Progress Note or opening an unsigned Progress Note, there are no sections listed under Optional Sections on the task pane at left of screen. Signed notes show the Optional sections.

The problem is caused by a section being listed twice for that Note Type.

To see this, logon as the SA.

Go to Setup > Documentation Setup > QuicDoc Documentation

Select the Note Type

Under the sections and make sure there is duplicate section.  If so delete the duplicate section
