Sign and Date Multiple Notes (Supervisor Screen)
Overview
Many organizations have scenarios where a rendering provider is overseen by a supervisor who is, in turn, required to sign and date the rendering provider’s note. Chances are good that such a supervisor might have to review quite a few notes created by the folks they oversee. To help supervisors batch their work, PsychEase provides the Supervisor Screen for batch review and signing-and-dating of notes.
Note: this process does not allow a supervising provider to sign and bill notes. However, the system can be configured to allow the rendering provider to sign and bill, and automatically create a follow-up for the supervisor to sign-and-date. - Right-click anywhere in a note and click Supervisor Screen
- The Supervisor Screen opens containing your to-do list items
- Select the checkboxes next to the notes you wish to review
- You can search, sort, and filter to make this easier
- Click Review
- The notes you selected open in a batch with the first note displaying on the screen
- Review the contents of the note and make a decision:
- Note is not ready for signature: click the X icon in the upper left corner. A red strikethrough appears and the note remains in your to-do list. Proceed to the next step.
- Note is ready for signature: proceed to next step
- Toggle to the next note and repeat the prior step
- You eventually reach the end of the batch
- Click Sign & Date
- The Notes Have Been Processed window appears
- This action signs all of the remaining reviewed notes for which you did not click X
- The tasks related to the notes you signed disappear from your To-Do List upon refresh
